Established in 1950 in Knoxville, TN Broadway Electric Service, Inc., now known as BESCO, grew almost immediately to dominance in the East Tennessee market.

Today BESCO remains dominant in electrical construction, service/maintenance and low voltage installations, working with its own forces in a wide regional area and working throughout the United States and Canada through direct management of its base of pre-qualified affiliates.

BESCO exists to provide for North America customers the highest quality of electrical construction, service/maintenance and low voltage installations in a manner that achieves the following results: functionality according to design, timely completion, code and license compliance, cost effectiveness and safety for all parties.

The BESCO team works to insure economy in price, quality control and compliance with design in installation. Through the use of skilled labor, quality materials and tools and firm management we strive to make each project adhere to the following criteria:

To accomplish each assignment BESCO self-performs all work with its own forces or through direct management of pre-qualified affiliates. The affiliate network is based in over 230 cities throughout the United States and Canada. To assure that each affiliate meets BESCO’s mission and standard they must pass a rigorous investigative process which includes the following elements: organization, history, insurance, licensing, financial, legal, safety, capabilities, experience, quality assurance, warranty, service/maintenance, pricing, hold harmless, confidentiality and concurrence with BESCO’s guidelines for work and paper processing.
