In 2007, BESCO decided to expand into the renewable energies markets by becoming actively engaged in the wind and solar markets. Initial work has included wind farm collection system maintenance and assisting customers in design as well as research and development efforts. BESCO has been engaged in preplanning efforts, including the design of photovoltaic (PV) and concentrated solar power (CSP) projects throughout the U.S. BESCO sees both the wind and solar energy markets as providing substantial potential for future success and has dedicated resources to these renewable energy markets.

BESCO has performed high-voltage underground and overhead line work for many years. This has resulted in numerous opportunities to partner with renewable energy contractors. BESCO’s services range from providing full electrical collection systems on large Wind Farm projects to installing rooftop Photovoltaic Systems. Due to our national presence and skilled workforce, we are prepared to assist on any sized project.
